Sweet PDZ
Sweet PDZ Horse Stall Refresher has been recognized as the pioneering and leading stall freshener brand since its introduction in 1983. It is an all-natural, non-toxic and non-hazardous mineral.
Sweet PDZ contains no masking scents or perfume cover-up. It captures and neutralizes ammonia and odors through its unique mineral characteristics, known as Cation Exchange and adsorption.
It is a stall treatment that is efficient, economical, effective and eco-friendly to apply to all bedding materials (i.e. shavings, straw, wood pellets, sawdust and paper/cardboard products) and floors (i.e. wood, concrete, dirt, asphalt). It is also great to use in horse and livestock trailers. Additionally, Sweet PDZ is gaining greater awareness and exposure with pet owners as an application in dog kennels/runs, chicken coops, rabbitries and a variety of other pet habitats. It is far and away the preferred choice over hydrated lime and barn/dairy lime for ammonia removal and moisture absorption in horse stalls, livestock barns and pet habitats.
Sweet PDZ is safe to handle with bare hands and is an "environmentally green" product when disposing of it. Upon locking up ammonium and other odors spent Sweet PDZ releases into the soil as a slow-release nitrogen fertilizer. It is also a very beneficial ingredient in the composting process, as it reduces the ammonia and odors and it provides for a more nitrogen rich compost material.
